The XR Lewes ‘Sounding’ Event

Are you worried about climate breakdown? Come and share your thoughts and feelings about the climate emergency with the XR community.
The world has changed since thousands of us joined the Rebellion in 2019 and forced the UK Parliament to declare a Climate Emergency. There are now many forces committed to stopping change. Whilst our scientists warn of the clear and present danger we are in, fossil fuel emissions and global temperatures continue to rise. The last few years have been tough. Some of us in XR Lewes feel it is time to pause, reflect and take a sounding. We have formed the Soundings Working Group. Our aim is to reach out and invite rebels and friends to come together and share how they feel about what is happening to our planet.
We will share food, thoughts and feelings and reflect on our collective future, asking ourselves as individuals: Where are we going? What is our purpose? And, what do we need?
