Day to Protest and Remember
the Black, Indigenous and People of Colour throughout the Global South who disproportionately bear the brunt of the climate crisis and the activists from these communities who have been killed in defence of their people and homes the disproportionate number of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic people who have died from Covid.
the BAME men and women that have died in the criminal justice system.
the asylum seekers who have died trying to reach our shores for a place of peace and safety.

Daytime 20th March From 12.30 pm
Take the opportunity to lay painted pebbles – socially
distanced and masked – along the edge of the Promenade,
near the Martello Tower, Seaford.
Take the knee or stand in silence for 3 mins if you wish

Evening 20th March From 18.30 pm
Take the opportunity to lay nightlights in jars – socially distanced and
masked – along the Spiral Path to the top of the Mound on Railway Land.
Take the knee or stand in silence for 3 mins if you wish

Paint your pebbles with non-toxic water based paints/chalk, you may wish to include the name of someone who has died due to the above circumstances
Carry a message or placard if you wish
Bring your nightlights in jars, painted or not
Take your photo and share on social media
Remember to wear masks and maintain
social distancing guidelines at all times
Jars will be collected for recycling at 9 pm
