Westminster Rebellion

From early 2020 until lockdown a group of us maintained a presence at the Palace of Westminster to protest against successive governments’ inaction on the climate catastrophe and ecological disaster. We resumed on Monday 14 September, and hope to continue to do so until at least November 2021 when COP26 is due to take place in Glasgow.

Anyone is welcome to join this protest which is a peaceful, lawful action. Click here to get involved.

We ask people to wear masks, bring hand gel, placards, signs, leaflets for people to photograph, flags, props, dress up, dress down, make it fun and don’t let those MPs, advisers and Peers just pass you by…..

Remember to follow current Covid19 rules and socially distance, keeping to groups of 6 or less at all times.

This protest will be self organised, meeting daily at 11:00am at Carriage Gate, the vehicle access point to the Palace of Westminster, or as near as possible.
